so sometimes when people buy the useless crap i hawk at the gift shop i work at, i'll ask them if they want a bag and they'll respond, "Aw, nah. Save the planet." surely, if you wanted to save the planet you wouldn't buy the worthless crap that's made largely of processed oil. Consumers can be idiots.

somewhere in NZ you have become a serious cynic. guess what. in japan, everything comes tripple packaged. like candy. it'll be individually wrapped, placed in a box, and that box will be wrapped in plastic. seriously, we have issues. big issues. we are also the second largest contributors of garbage, for a small country filled with small people. however, my city does recycle every form of plastic, including plastic wrappers. but really that is like a spoon to spoon out the water from a sinking ship.

owww. i have always been cynical. which is funny considering that my home country, which is also where i spent most of my youth, doesn't practice cynicism. or sarcasm. it is still a mystery to me where i got it from.
